Great lil deli ! Has everything you need to make a amazing meal ! It’s narrow and tight so if you are claustrophobic it’s a bit tight

Orazio makes all the mozzarella from scratch in the back.
He always has a smile and there are plenty of employees.
They have tons of other cheeses. They have the sausage hanging up and sell macaroni and fresh cold cuts .
Cant miss.

Strolling along Arthur Avenue at lunch time we came upon this small unassuming Italian deli. The long line was inviting because it was a sign of something absolutely wonderful to come. Not knowing what to expect we chatted with locals waiting to place their order. Each had their favorite treats and freely offered advice on what we should definitely try. The consensus was “you must have the mozzarella and eat it warm, DO NOT PUT IT IN THE REFRIGERATOR!.” And so we did; creamy, sweet, smooth, slightly salty cheese that melted in my mouth. Truly the finest mozzarella that ever past my lips. Oh, I did say we stopped in for lunch. I enjoyed the vegetarian hero; grilled eggplant, grilled zucchini, marinated pepper and that wonderful fresh mozzarella on fresh Italian bread. Seating was not available so we sat in a local park and enjoyed our picnic. We stopped in for a quick sandwich and left with two shopping bags full with delicious Italian deli meats, cheeses and salads. I will return!

I went here recently to get some fresh mozzarella. It was a long line, but I expected that since it was a Saturday. I didn’t really know what I was getting into– there aren’t any menus or anything. The cheese was amazing though. I definitely want to go back to get a panini soon.

This deli serves up amazing sandwiches which feature high-quality cuts of meat and cheese. My favorites are the Casa and the Buratta on a hero. In my opinion, they provide the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and toppings to bread. The sandwiches always taste well balanced with no single ingredient overpowering the other ingredient’s flavors. My wife and I always grab a couple of sandwiches before heading to the Bronx Zoo or the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I will definitely be back to try their other heroes!

Right in the heart of Little Italy in the Bronx lives this wonderful Italian Sandwich shop that’s been around since 2008! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was immediately transported to a shop in Italy. There was jars of delicious authentic pesto sauce, fresh baked Italian cookies, fresh motz, you name it! The guys and gals behind the counter were upbeat, friendly and took the time to explain the difference between some of their classic favorites.

I ordered the Siciliana on a hero, which was made up of Parmacotto, Smoked Mozzarella, Marinated Eggplant and Olive Oil. You can’t get a sandwich without a drink (well, you can but why would you), so I grabbed a Siciliana Limonata (Lemon Soda from Sicily). It was bubbly, light, and quite lemony.. and totally delicious!

And one of the coolest parts about the whole experience is that they give you a reusable shopping bag with your order! Gotta love it!
